Our long standing member Brian Mitchell passed away suddenly on October 15, 2018 as the result of a tragic accident. One of the pillars of our club, Brian joined the Chicago Schutzhund Verein in 2004. He and his dog Duffy enjoyed great success obtaining both a SchH3 and and IPO3. At the time of his death, he was working toward an IPO3 with his current loving companion Bridie, IPO2. Brian was a quiet man but always ready to help others with their training and share what he knew. He helped us at shows and trials volunteering for whatever needed to be done. Our friend and fellow club member Brian will be missed for as long as our club exists.
